Preinstalled and own tools

The DRE consists of a web-interface enabling access to virtual machines. Preinstalled tools consist of programs such as SPSS, R Studio, Matlab, and Office, but you are free  to install your own tools.

Because of the security boundary around workspaces, it is possible to offer users the ability to install their own tooling without harming others.

Thanks to the flexibility of the Azure cloud platform, on which the DRE has been built, we can offer a variety of virtualized hardware, including (but not limited) to:
  • Standalone virtual Windows / Linux machines (e.g. 72 cores, 144 Gb RAM);
  • Compute Clusters (HPC);
  • Web-Servers;
  • Several storage options (tables/files/SQL/etc.).

If you're researching this topic for a class or project, let me know if you want to:

Environmental engineering stands as a critical shield against climate change, pollution, and unsustainable development. At the heart of this discipline's modern academic foundation is , a professor and researcher whose seminal textbook and research papers have guided generations of engineers worldwide.

While physical copies of the book can be rare or expensive today, several legitimate avenues exist for accessing Kiely's work and research insights digitally.

While the temptation to use obscure search strings to find free PDFs is high due to the cost of academic textbooks, downloading files from unverified online repositories carries significant risks:

Kiely’s approach focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical environmental science and practical engineering applications. He emphasizes the need for an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to environmental management, combining biology, chemistry, and engineering principles. 2. Key Themes in Kiely's Environmental Engineering If you're researching this topic for a class

: Comprehensive guides on solid and hazardous waste treatment.

The text stands out due to its multi-disciplinary focus. Rather than treating environmental issues as isolated problems, Kiely addresses the ecosystem as a deeply interconnected network.

Transforming traditional wastewater treatment plants into energy-positive water resource recovery facilities (WRRFs).

The textbook is structured into four foundational parts designed to take a reader from basic ecological science to applied technical solutions and corporate environmental strategies. While the temptation to use obscure search strings

: Practical chapters on Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), environmental monitoring, and the impact of transportation. Accessing the Work
