The foundation of a successful USB Redirector deployment begins with proper installation on your end. Here's how to set it up the right way.

When your customer connects, their session will appear in your USB Redirector Technician Edition interface. You will see their information displayed, making it easy to distinguish between multiple simultaneous customers if your license supports it.

A particularly useful feature of version 197 is its ability to handle reboots without losing the customer connection. If you need to reboot your computer during a servicing procedure, simply relaunch USB Redirector Technician Edition after the reboot. Wait a few seconds, and the customer connection will reappear automatically. You will need to manually reconnect the USB device, but the session itself remains intact.
