The system becomes noticeably smoother, and many of the annoying bugs that plague the stock firmware disappear. However, the Wi-Fi is unlikely to work unless your box uses the exact same module as the H96 Mini V8. If you are primarily using an Ethernet connection, this trade-off might be acceptable.
