[2021] - Archicad 11
The release of ArchiCAD 11 was accompanied by a significant push into international markets. In November 2007, Graphisoft launched a full promotional tour for the Chinese version, holding demonstration events across major cities. These events showcased new features such as enhanced complex wall geometries and the groundbreaking "Virtual Trace" functionality, aiming to onboard Chinese architects into the BIM workflow. This commitment to localization, including the availability of a full Chinese user manual, helped establish ArchiCAD's presence in one of the world's largest construction markets.
Enabled extrusion of highly detailed standard or custom wall shapes.
While Teamwork features existed in prior versions, ArchiCAD 11 refined the collaborative process. Virtual Trace allowed different disciplines to visualize their contributions in context, reducing the friction inherent in sharing IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) files or exchanging DWG drawings. The software's support for multiple users working on the same project, with proper permissions and conflict resolution, was a key selling point for medium and large firms. archicad 11
To manage 2D detail drawings without cluttering the main 3D model, Graphisoft added the Worksheet Tool. It allowed architects to detach 2D viewpoints from the model to create standard construction details, combine them with imported DWG files, and maintain clean project files. 4. This was the headline feature. Graphisoft realized that even if you love ArchiCAD, you live in a world of AutoCAD. The release of ArchiCAD 11 was accompanied by

: A major addition that allowed for the automatic creation of details directly from the 3D model. This ensured that changes in the main project would be reflected in detail views, maintaining consistency across the set.
ArchiCAD 11 introduced several workflow enhancements that moved the needle for architectural productivity:
